Since then, experts have outlined quantifiable goals to enhance the health and wellbeing of citizens across the nation. A number of objectives under Healthy People 2030 (the fifth version unveiled in 2020) are geared toward lowering the incidence and mortality of cancer.Healthy People 2030 set targets to raise the percentages of adults who have colorectal cancer screenings (target 68.3%) and breast and cervical cancer screenings (target 80.3% and 79.2%, respectively) among women.
