The treatments used to treat cancer patients eliminate the tumors, but they frequently have unfavorable side effects on the patients as well. However, a recent study examined how gold nanoparticles can administer cancer drugs with not only incredible accuracy but could also significantly reduce the likelihood of harmful side-effects that are typically found with cancer drug treatments.
