During a recent webinar, an international team of academics presented computer simulation results on dark matter that may aid in improving our understanding of this enigmatic and virtually invisible component. The Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC), placed on the Subaru telescope in Hawaii and run by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, has been making observations for three years. These observations have culminated in this study.”Our overall goal is to measure some of the most fundamental properties of our universe,” said Roohi Dalal, a Princeton graduate student studying astrophysics.
